SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (July 16, 2026) – The Western New England men's golf team has revealed its 2026 fall schedule for the upcoming season, featuring a pair of new tournaments and six two-day events overall.  

The fall season will open on Wednesday, September 9, for a two-day event, as the Golden Bears play in the American International College (AIC) Invitational, set to be hosted at Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass. From there, the Golden Bears head to the Duke Nelson Invitational on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, hosted by Middlebury College.  Tee-off on Saturday is set for 11:00 AM, while the Sunday tee-off is scheduled for 9:00 AM. Western New England finished in 16^th place last season at the event. The month of September will wrap up with another new event on the schedule this season, seeing the Blue and Gold travel to the Wentworth Institute of Technology Invitational at Kettle Brook Golf Club in Paxton, Mass. The two-day event takes place on Sunday, September 20, and Monday, September 21. The Golden Bears will tee off on Sunday at 12:00 PM, followed by a 10:00 AM first tee on Monday. 

The Conference of New England Championships will take place at Blackledge Country Club on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, this season, hosted by the University of Hartford. Western New England finished in third place at the event last season, their highest finish since 2019, when the team tied for second overall. The Golden Bears aim to reclaim the conference title after last winning the championship in 2018.

Following the Conference of New England Championships, Western New England men's golf heads to the Skidmore Fall Invitational for a 36-hole, two-day event. The Golden Bears finished in 13^th place last season at the event. The final event of the fall season is the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships at The Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Mass. Western New England's second-place finish at last season's NEIGA event was the best finish in program history.
