Biography

2016 (Junior Year): Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team...All-CCC First Team...Academic All-CCC Selection...Appeared in 40 games, hitting .318, with six home runs, 42 RBI, 17 runs, and one stolen base. 

2015 (Sophomore Year): Appeared in 34 games, hitting .311 (6th on the team) with seven doubles, two home runs and 18 RBI...also scored 21 runs and drew 14 walks...posted nine multi-hit games, including three straight from 3/16-3/19...went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in a 9-2 win over Bowdoin (3/19)...posted a 4-for-5 effort with a walk, a double and three runs scored in a 14-7 loss at Westfield State (4/15)...Academic All-CCC selection.

2014 (Freshman Year): Made an immediate impact, earning an All-CCC Second Team selection...CCC Rookie of the Week (April 14) after hitting .533 (8-for-15) with one home run, five runs batted in and four runs scored during a 5-0 record against conference opponents... led freshmen on the team in most statistical categories, including 36 games played...third overall with 19 RBI...made WNE debut on March 14, going 2-for-2 against The College of New Jersey...posted seven more multi-hit contests...first career home run was a grand slam at Wentworth on April 13, 13-0...had a career-high three hits, including a triple, and two walks to go along with three RBI in an 11-1 win versus Trinity-Conn. (March 17).

High School: Baseball team captain at Salem, earning three varsity letters...played amateur baseball for Derry Legion and the Showcase League helped Derry to the New Hampshire Legion tournament title...played in the Juniors All-Star Game...playoff MVP for the Showcase League champions...graduated in 2013.

Personal: Born Daniel George Morin on Aug. 6, 1995 in Salem, N.H. parents are George and Karen wants to work at an engineering firm after graduation made the University's President's List in Fall '13...brother, Joseph, played baseball at Saint Anselm College...Favorites: movie--Saving Private Ryan; actor--Will Ferrell; pro teams--MLB's Boston Red Sox, NHL's Bruins and NFL's Patriots; athlete--Brad Marchand; food--spaghetti and meatballs; music group--Zac Brown Band; city: Boston...electrical engineering major.
