Biography

2015 (Junior Year): Earned his second straight Academic All-CCC selection...appeared in 21 games, totaling eight hits, eight RBI and seven runs scored...went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in Western New England's 9-6 loss to Trinity (3/14)...posted a 3-for-5 effort with three RBI and two runs as the Golden Bears swept two games from Nichols (4/11)...extended his hitting streak to three games with a single and a run scored in an 8-0 win at Endicott (4/12)...singled and scored a run in a 5-4 loss at MIT (4/22)...went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a 14-4 win at Bridgewater State (4/24).

2014 (Sophomore Year): Named to the Academic All-CCC team...saw more playing time as he earned a starter's role in the outfield...posted career highs in all statistical categories... walked 15 times for second on the Golden Bears...began the season with seven hits in his first three contests, including a 2-for-4 performance--the first two hits of his collegiate career--versus nationally-ranked Southern Maine in the March 9 season opener...had his first career triple on April 9 against Keene State and first double versus Curry (Game 1 on April 12)...changed uniform number to 6 from 42...was not caught stealing in 13 attempts for the best rate on the team (with at least 10 stolen base attempts).

2013 (Freshman Year): Appeared in three games, including his Golden Bears debut on April 16 as a pinch-hitter against nationally-ranked Wheaton....scored as a pinch-runner in a 6-3 win at Babson (April 29)...named to the President's List in the fall and Dean's List in the spring semester.

High School: Earned three varsity letters each in baseball, football and basketball at Nipmuc Regional captain of the baseball team in his senior year named to the Dual Valley Conference all-league team in his junior and senior years played on the Milford American Legion baseball team that won a state championship in 2013, as well as for teams in the Showcase League and Bay State Games...graduated in 2012.

Personal: Born Scott Wayne Hubener on July 11, 1994 in Worcester, Mass. parents are Janet and Wayne wants to find a job in Homeland Security after graduation likes playing video games and the guitar...Favorites: movie--The Town; TV show--Lost; actor--Denzel Washington; pro team--NFL's New England Patriots; athlete--Tom Brady; food--anything Italian; musical group--Zac Brown Band; city: Boston, Mass....has a brother, Danny...criminal justice major with a minor in psychology.
