Biography

Entering the Season: Three-year letterman...all-star candidate after receiving postseason accolades in each of his first three years for the Golden Bears...team's top starter in the pitching rotation...Dean's List student in Fall 2011 and Spring 2012...top-10 active player on school all-time lists for lowest opponents' batting average, victories, earned-run average and strikeouts...

2014 (Junior Year): Placed on the D3baseball.com All-New England Third Team...for the third time, earned All-Commonwealth Coast Conference honors (Second Team)...ace of the pitching staff with a 6-1 won-lost record and 1.93 earned-run average, setting personal records for winning percentage and ERA in a season... allowed only 36 hits in 46-2/3 innings, while striking out 46 batters to rank fifth in the CCC and he was second with 8.87 strikeouts per nine innings for second...opponents batted just .217 against him, which set another career best...

2013 (Sophomore Year): All-CCC Second Team performer...Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Pitcher of the Week (April 10) after tossing the school's first no-hitter in eight years on April 6 in a 7-0 victory over CCC rival Nichols College as part of two games in which he had 11 strikeouts in 11 innings...two-time CCC Pitcher of the Week (March 4, April 8)...Collegiate Baseball Newspaper NCAA III Preseason All-America selection.

2012 (Freshman Year): Named the CCC Rookie of the Year while making the all-conference first team...opponents batted only .198 against him for the best average among Golden Bears pitchers...ranked second on the team with eight wins and third in ERA (2.51)...he had the fifth-best ERA in the CCC while ranking in the Top-5 in several other categories...four-time CCC Rookie of the Week selection (Mar. 6, Apr. 3, Apr. 17, May 8)...member of the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for Mar. 6 after pitching seven strong innings against MIT, giving up just three hits with two walks and three strikeouts in winning his collegiate debut two days earlier to also earn the rookie of the week award from the CCC...chosen the March 14 WNE Male Athlete of the Week...was the CCC Pitcher (and Rookie) of the Week for Apr. 3, after gaining two wins and 11 strikeouts without allowing an earned run in 13 innings against CCC opponents Salve Regina and Nichols; he gave up only four hits.

High School: Won two letters at Enrico Fermi...team captain during senior year...twice earned all-conference...played in a Senior Legion All-Star Game in 2011 and '12...

Personal: Born Trevor Steven Breton on July 30, 1993 in Hartford, Conn....parents are Laura and Richard... wants to have a career in baseball after graduation...majoring in computer science.
