Western New England University

Nick Connell joined the Western New England University football coaching staff as an assistant in August 2017 and returns to the team for the 2021 season. 

Connell joined the coaching staff following a standout four-year career at Western New England. The East Marion, N.Y. native racked up 2,778 rushing yards, good for fourth in program history, and 28 touchdowns on the ground. Connell was a two-time All-New England Football Conference (NEFC) selection, garnering D3football.com All-East Region second team accolades as a senior in 2016.
