Entering the Season: Begins third year with the program...a graduate student...two-year letterman and returning starter.

2013-14 (Senior Year): In his second season with the Golden Bears, his role increased dramatically from the previous season while starting in all 25 of the team's games...averaged career highs of 11.5 points and 5.2 rebounds...named WNE Student-Athlete of the Week on Jan. 28 for leading WNE to a 2-0 record against Commonwealth Coast Conference opponents, averaging 13.5 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field for a .588 percentage and five treys in 10 attempts from beyond the arc...7th in the CCC with a career-best 69 assists...led the team in steals for another personal record.

2012-13 (Junior Season): Played in 16 games...had his Golden Bears debut in the Nov. 16 season opener at Eastern Connecticut, recording a steal on his first possession...made the University's Dean’s List.

What I like best about WNE: "The people and sport management classes."

High School: Three-year letterman at Southington...served as a team captain and was an All-Central Connecticut Conference choice his senior season, when SHS went 14-8 in 2009-10...also earned three letters in volleyball and two in soccer...helped volleyball team to a state championship over Staples, 3-2, in West Hartford, while earning All-Connecticut honors...graduated in 2010.

Personal: Born Nicholas Carmine DeFeo on March 31, 1992 in Southington, Conn., to parents Michael and Candee...has three siblings Samantha, Jared and Michael enjoys sports, reading and spending time with family...Favorites: movie—Wedding Crashers; TV show--The Office; actors—Adam Sandler, Matthew McConaughey; pro teams—NFL's Green Bay Packers and MLB's New York Yankees; athlete—LeBron James; foods—pizza and salad; music group—Zac Brown and Dave Matthews bands majored in sport management.
