Entering the Season: Three-year letterman...adds depth and brings a lot of experience to the Golden Bears' blue line...can also play forward...serving as an assistant team captain...WNE's leading active scorer among defensemen with 11+15=26 totals, which is also second overall.

2013-14 (Junior Year): Appeared in 22 contests, scoring three goals and five assists for eight points... named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Northeast All-Academic Team for a second time...

2012-13 (Sophomore Year): Had a breakout season with 26 games played, six goals, eight assists, 14 total points...made the All-ECAC Northeast Academic Team...led WNE blueliners in goal-scoring and was second in point production.

2011-12 (Freshman Year): Tied among WNE defensemen with two goals...tied for fifth in team defensemen scoring... notched first collegiate point with an assist in a 5-2 win over Johnson & Wales (Nov. 10) to open the Pepperidge Farm Tournament at Worcester State...the Golden Bears won that in-season championship...WNE Dean's List honoree.

Before Western New England: Last club team played for was the New Jersey Rockets out of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League...2009 graduate of Princeton Day School, where he lettered four times in hockey, three times in lacrosse and captained the hockey team...made the academic honor roll.

Personal: Born Michael Kevin Darrar on Nov. 19, 1990 in Monroe Township, N.J....parents are Kevin and Marie...wants to work for a professional sports team after graduation...sport management major...siblings are Robby and Kevin Favorites: movie—Saving Private Ryan; TV show—Sons of Anarchy; pro teams—NFL's New York Giants and New Jersey Devils of the NHL; music group—Florida Georgia Line... sport management major.
