2013 (Junior Year): Did not play...stayed involved with the team as a videographer.

2012 (Sophomore Year): Named to the Academic All-Commonwealth Coast Conference team...played in a career-high 20 contests and started in 14...recorded first collegiate goal on Oct. 23 in a 3-0 victory against CCC foe Gordon.

2011 (Freshman Year): Appeared in three contests...inducted to the Alpha Lambda Delta Freshman Honor Society.

High School:  Two-year team captain at Minnechaug Regional, where he played prep soccer for four seasons...all-league...selected to compete in an all-star game for seniors in 2010...club squad, Western United, won the 2008 state championship... Western United also won a 2010 tournament in Bethesda, Md....member of their program from 2006-12...played for the Western Mass Pioneers U-20 in 2012... graduated in 2011.

Personal: Born Zachary Scott Coopee on Dec. 31, 1992 in Springfield, Mass., to parents Scott and Donna...father is Assistant Vice President for Information Technology at the University...has three siblings: Taylor, Allison, Grace...spends the summer as a shadow in the clinical engineering department at Baystate Medical Center and the New England Orthopedics operating room...Favorites: movie--Rambo; actor--Arnold Schwarzenegger; pro team--NFL's New England Patriots; athlete--Brandon Spikes; food--lobster; music group--Boston...nickname is Hambone...wants to go to medical school after graduation...biomedical engineering major, with a minor in chemistry.
