Biography
Entering the Season: Third year with the Golden Bears after transferring from NCAA Division II Long Island University-Post at the end of her freshman season...two-year returning starter...postseason awards candidate...versatile player who can play either attack or midfield...one of the best offensive threats in the Commonwealth Coast Conference...school's 11th all-time leading scorer in only two seasons.
2014 (Junior Year): Named second-team all-conference as a midfielder...chosen the CCC Offensive Player of the Week on back-to-back occasions (April 7, April 14)...had 10 points (8g, 2a), five ground balls and eight draw controls the first time she won conference player of the week...then posted 11 points on six goals and five assists, six ground balls, 12 draw controls and four caused turnovers the following week to win the award again...led the team with 55 goals, which ranked third in the conference...established career highs in total points (87), ground balls (48) and draw controls (67)...also topped WNE with 12 free-position goals and 26 attempts...registered multiple points in all 18 games she played...began the season with five points (3g,2a) in a 21-7 win at Manhattanville on March 1...poured in a career-best eight goals against Lasell on April 17, a 21-8 triumph at home...scored twice versus Roger Williams in the CCC Semifinals.
2013 (Sophomore Year): Made an immediate impact to the WNE offense with a team-tying 67 goals, earning All-CCC Second Team accolades...67 goals are third all-time in a single season for the Golden Bears...started in all 21 games, notching at least a point in every one registered 84 points for third on WNE and seventh in the conference recorded 62 draw controls caused 18 turnovers twice earned CCC Player of the Week (March 4 and 11)...topped the CCC in shots with 159...scored six goals in team debut on March 2 versus Manhattanville.
2012 (Freshman Year): Attended LIU-Post, where she contributed to the Pioneers' NCAA Division II national championship run...made collegiate debut on March 11 against Southern New Hampshire, getting a shot on goal...scored first goal at St. Thomas Aquinas (April 10) in a 22-10 win...also found the back of the net versus Mercy College on May 1...LIU-Post went 17-3 overall and 7-1 in the East Coast Conference.

High School: Played four seasons of varsity lacrosse for coach Karen Newall at Stratford was named first-team all-conference and all-division honorable mention during her prep career...scored 57 goals for the Red Devils during her junior season...lacrosse captain lacrosse travel team was Connecticut Lightning... also lettered in soccer for four years...graduated in 2011.
Personal: Born Kaitlynn Laureen Stevens on June 30, 1993 in Bridgeport, Conn .nickname is Kait... daughter of Bob and Maureen Lotzko twin sister is Sarah, who plays soccer and lacrosse at WNE likes waterskiing, wakeboarding, going to the beach, dogs and shopping Favorites: movie--The Dark Knight Rises TV show--Lost; actors--Dave Franco, Ben Affleck pro teams--New York Yankees of MLB and NFL's New England Patriots athletes--Lebron James, Mia Hamm food--macaroni and cheese member of the WNE Neuroscience Club...majoring in biology.
