Entering the Season: One of seven seniors on the squad...twin sister, Kaitlynn, also plays in the program...serving as a tri-captain...three-year letterwinner...also a four-year member of the WNE women's soccer team, appearing in 49 career games while serving as a team tri-captain during the 2014 campaign...a defensive-minded player...two-year returning starter.

2014 (Junior Year): Had a breakout season that included accolades from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association as a Division III All-Berkshire Region Second Team defender, All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) First Team defender and Academic All-CCC...voted the WNE Teammate Award recipient, given to the Golden Bear who is "coachable, a team leader, hard working and supportive of all her teammates"...chosen the WNE Student-Athlete of the Week (April 4)...recorded an assist on March 11 during a 16-14 win at Mount Holyoke...she also had a ground ball and three caused turnovers in that game...recorded at least one ground ball in 11 consecutive games from March 26-April 23... had four draw controls and a caused turnover in the March 1 season opener at Manhattanville...tied her career high with four ground balls during an 18-7 win versus Curry (March 28).

2013 (Sophomore Year): Became a full-time starter while playing in all 21 contests named to the All-CCC Second Team...recorded career highs with 36 ground balls and 10 draw controls caused 19 turnovers for another personal record...had four ground balls and four caused turnovers at nationally-ranked Rochester Tech (March 15)...member of the academic all-conference team.

2012 (Freshman Year): Appeared in 18 games, starting eight scored three goals on six shots registered 11 ground balls and six draw controls.

What I like best about WNE: "My teammates in the lacrosse and soccer programs."

High School: Won four varsity letters apiece in soccer and lacrosse at Stratford...captained soccer and lacrosse squads...also earned a four-year award in both sports...recipient of Coaches' and Red Devil Leadership awards in each sport...also received two in-/outdoor track & field letters...graduated in 2011.

Personal: Born Sarah A. Stevens on June 30, 1993 in Bridgeport, Conn...daughter of Robert and Maureen Lotzko...loves soccer, going to the beach and boating...spending time with friends is very important to her...post-graduation goals are to become a teacher and coach high school soccer...English major, with minor study in psychology and education.
