Biography

Entering this Season: Two-year returning starter...postseason awards candidate after having a career year last fall...missed just one game in her WNE career.

2013 (Sophomore Year): Earned New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association Division III Second Team accolades as the first Golden Bear to do so since 2011...named honorable mention all-Commonwealth Coast Conference after ranking third in minutes played (1741:49), third in save percentage (.837), fourth in goals-against average (1.14), shutouts (6), wins (8), and fifth in saves (113)...also set career highs with 19 starts, as well as for GAA, saves, save-percentage, shutouts and tying her personal record for victories...chosen to the Husson Classic All-Tournament Team after not allowing a goal in 148 minutes between the posts...CCC Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 28) after posting a stingy 0.90 GAA and made 19 total saves during a 1-0-1 week against CCC opponents...Sep. 12 CCC Rookie of the Week...had a stretch of 456 consecutive minutes without surrendering a goal that spanned parts of six games from Sep. 21 to Oct. 9, yielding four shutouts in a row.

2012 (Freshman Year): Selected the CCC Rookie of the Week (Sep. 12) after posting two shutouts and 25 saves during a 2-1 week...registered a career-high 13 stops in a 2-0 loss to Simmons on Sep. 9...one of the nation's freshmen leaders in minutes played with over 1800...ranked seventh in the CCC with a 1.60 goals-against average...98 saves were good for fifth in the conference...four shutouts were the most by a WNE keeper since 2009.

What I Like Best About WNE: "The small campus as a close-knit community. I love my soccer team."

High School: Earned three varsity letters at Westfield...also played freshman soccer...two-year captain...earned the Coaches' Award and was the team's MVP...All-Western Mass. selection who played in prep all-star game...played in goal during the first half of that event and then scored a second-half goal while playing the field...also lettered in lacrosse two times...graduated in 2012.

Personal: Born Briana Keely Kubik on April 6, 1994 in Springfield, Mass....parents are Todd and Chris... lists mac and cheese as her favorite food...has two siblings: Brandon and Taryn...elementary education-psychology major.
