Entering this Season: Returning two-year starter...adds midfield experience.
2013 (Sophomore Year): Named to the Academic All-Commonwealth Coast Conference Team...chosen to the Husson Classic All-Tournament Team after helping the Golden Bears to the championship by scoring a goal against Maine Maritime in the first round and being part of defense that didn't give up a goal...also scored at UMass-Boston (Oct. 16)...notched her first career collegiate assist--after her first goal in the Aug. 31 season opener versus MMA--in a 2-1 win over Salve Regina on Oct. 22...almost tripled her performance in shots (14) from her freshman year (5).
2012 (Freshman Year): Started in 12 of 20 games played, including WNE debut on Sep. 1 against Maine Maritime...took first shot against DeSales on Sep. 8.
High School: Won four varsity letters each in soccer and softball at East Longmeadow...served as senior captain for both soccer and softball teams during 2011 seasons...helped soccer squad to 2011 state tournament finals after ELHS won Western Mass. championship...graduated in 2012.
Personal: Born Rebecca Mary Mercieri on May 16, 1994 in East Longmeadow, Mass....mother's name is Mary; father's is Steven...undecided on a major.
