DANBURY, Conn. â€" Western Connecticut State University scored all of its goals in a 21-minute stretch en route to a 3-1 victory over Western New England College in a non-conference game.

The Colonials took a 1-0 lead in the 34th minute before sophomore Ashley St. John (Barre, VT) tied the contest with her third goal of the season in the 44th minute. Junior Melissa Mattice (Oneonta, NY) assisted on the shot.

WCSU, however, scored with 58 seconds remaining in the half and again in the 55th minute.

Sophomore goalie Marisa Sullivan (Halesite, NY) made five saves for the Golden Bears who are now 6-7-1.
