SPRINGFIELD, Mass. â€" Western New England College scored an own goal in the 49th minute for a 1-0 upset victory over No. 15 Keene State College.

The Golden Bears (11-5-1) scored when OwlsÕ junior back Mike Lewis (Manchester, CT) kicked the ball over the head of senior goalie Brandon Beck (Johnstown, NY) following a shot by WNEC sophomore Mike Zawislak (Newark, DE).

Keene State College (11-3-1) is ranked second in the NSCAA/adidas Division III New England Regional rankings.

Senior Jay Martyn (Poughkeepsie, NY) recorded his sixth shutout of the season with two saves while Beck was credited with one save.

This was the 10th shutout of the season for the Golden Bears.
