BOSTON, Mass. â€" Junior guard Jon Godbout (Bristol, CT) scored a a game high 25 points, but Emmanuel College rallied for a 72-67 victory over visiting Western New England College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game at the new Jean Yawkey Center.

The Golden Bears (6-4, 3-1) lost their first conference game and saw their four-game winning streak come to an end.

Senior forward Anthony Charbatji (Attleboro, MA) added 12 points while sophomore forward Jim Bayne (Bristol, CT) contributed 11 points and nine rebounds.

Emmanuel (5-4, 3-0) shot 52.0% from the field in overcoming a 35-31 half-time deficit. Senior guard Bobby Brown led four scorers in double figures with 19 points (17 in the second half)
