Balanced scoring attack leads Western New England College past Daniel Webster

NASHUA, N.H. - Sophomore guard Ryan Hernandez (Hampton Bays, NY) led a balanced scoring attack with 17 points as Western New England College moved a game within the .500 mark with an 82-50 victory over Daniel Webster College Wednesday night in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) men's basketball contest.

Senior guard Jon Godbout (Bristol, CT) contributed 15 points as the Golden Bears improved their record to 6-7 (4-2 GNAC)with their fourth consecutive victory. 

Senior forward Jason Cardinal (Ashaway, RI) had his best game since returning to the lineup with 13 points and seven steals.

Junior center Deon Thomas (Albany, NY) had another strong perfomance finishing with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Sophomore Neal Foley led the winless Eagles (0-12, 0-6) with 16 points.

This was the Golden Bears' second straight 30-point road win over a conference opponent in a little more than 48 hours. Western New England College defeated Emerson 80-50 this past Monday afternoon.
