DANBURY, Conn. - It was a long night for the Western New England College women's soccer team as No. 6 Western Connecticut State University coasted to a 6-0 victory Wednesday (Oct. 11) in a non-league game.

The Colonials (14-0) scored two goals in opening 14 minutes and went into half-time with a comfortable 4-0 lead. Jessica Gomes led the hosts with three goals with two coming in the first 32 minutes of action.

The Golden Bears managed only three shots in falling to 6-5-2.
