NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The Western New England College women's tennis allowed only six points in rolling to an easy 9-0 decision over host Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in a non conference match Monday afternoon (Oct. 1).

Senior captain Meredith Hughes (Springfield, MA) posted a 6-1, 6-0 victctory at the No. 1 singles flight to improve her record to 5-1. She also teamed with junior Ashley Sunderland (Commack, NY) for an 8-1 victory at the No. 1 doubles position.

The Golden Bears, under the direction of coach Jenn Kolins, improve their record to 5-4.

The Trailblazers remain winless at 0-6.
