SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Western New England College women's soccer team remained in first place in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) after battling visiting Colby-Sawyer to a 0-0 double overtime draw Saturday afternoon (Oct. 13) during Family & Friends Weekend.

The Golden Bears have a 12-2-2 record and a 9-0-2 mark in the conference after compiling their 12th shutout of the season.

WNEC had eight shots in the contest and didn't allow a shot on goal.

Junior Christina Quirk (Milford, CT) made four saves for the Chargers who are 6-7-2 overall and 4-5-1 in the conference.
