PAXTON, Mass. – Junior forward Dan Hare (Staatsburg, NY) netted the game-winner five minutes into the match as the Western New England College men's soccer team blanked host Anna Maria College 1-0 Tuesday (Sept. 11) in it's The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) debut.

Sophomore midfielder David Fitzpatrick (Burnt Hills, NY) had the assist as the Golden Bears improved their record to 3-1.

Western New England College had an 11-6 advantage in shots on the wet, cool afternoon.

Anna Maria, which was playing its first conference match of the season, now has a 2-2 record.
