Classmate Heather Mortell (Webster, MA) assisted on the winning shot as the Golden Bears raised their record to 7-2 with their fifth consecutive victory.

Coach Ron Dias' squad also remained unbeaten in the conference with a 4-0 mark.

WNEC out-shot UNE by an 11-6 margin as sophomore goalkeepr Jessica Covino (Bristol, CT) finished with three saves for her sixth shutout of the season.

Leigh Engel stopped five shots for the Nor'easters who dropped to 2-4 overall and 2-2 in TCCC.
