SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Senior goalkeeper Amy Meuse (Saugus, MA) recorded her third shutout of the season as Endicott remained unbeaten in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) with a 2-0 win over the Western New England College women's soccer team on Wednesday (Oct. 1) at Suprenant Field.

Endicott improves its record to 6-0 in the conference and 7-2-1 overall while Western New England College drops to 3-7 and 2-3 in TCCC.

Freshman forward Colleen Pepin (Fairhaven, MA) got the Gulls on the board early with her eighth goal of the season in the eighth minute on a shot that rebounded off the hands of Western New England College junior goalkeeper Jessica Covino (Bristol, CT).

This was Covino's first start since September 10 after she suffered from a concussion against Springfield. She finished with seven saves.

Later in the 22nd minute, junior midfielder Caitlin Flynn (Southhold, NY) notched in her seventh goal of the season to wrap up the Endicott scoring.

Pepin (eight goals, two assists) and Flynn (seven goals, four assists) are both tied for the team lead in points with 18.

Meuse tallied six saves to improve her record to 6-1.

The Gulls, defending TCCC champions, out shot the Golden Bears 19-9.
