LUDLOW, Mass. - The Western New England College men's soccer team ran its unbeaten streak to 15 with a 3-0 victory over Keene Sate Sunday night (Oct. 19) in a non-conference match played at Lusitano Stadium.

The Golden Bears, ranked 14th nationally and second in the region, improved their record to 11-1-4. The Owls fall to 5-8-3.

Freshman midfielder Austin Santolini (Agawam, MA) earned the game-winner with his first collegiate goal in the 43rd minute. Junior midfielder David Fitzpatrick (Burnt Hills, MA) had the assist.

Senior forward Dale Totman (Conway, MA) upped the margin to 2-0 with his team high ninth goal of the season in the 49th minute with an assist from junior midfielder Justin Martins (Ludlow, MA).

Martins then closed out the scoring with an unassisted goal (his fifth of the year) in the 83rd minute.

Junior goalkeeper Kyle Bak (Cumberland, RI) finished with four saves in picking up his second shutout of the fall.

Keene State's best opportunity to score came in the 67th minute when junior freshman midfielder Alex Larson (Williamsport, PA) fired a shot that skipped off the top of the crossbar.

Junior keeper Peter Kersker (Ipswich, MA) compiled six saves.

Western New England College held a 19-7 advantage in shots and four to one edge in corner kicks.
