LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Freshman Jeanmarie Barbato (Huntington Station, NY) had her best game of the season with five goals and four assists to lead the Western New England College women's lacrosse team to a 19-6 victory over Clarkson University Tuesday night (March 18) at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex.

The Golden Bears took a 7-3 lead at halftime and rattled off five unanswered goals (including three by Barbato) in the opening 7:25 of the second half to improve their record to 4-2.

Junior Lindsey Fenton (Pelham, MA) added three goals, two assists, and four ground balls.

Senior Kaitlin Zangle (Wingdale, NY) contributed three goals and an assist while sophomore Rosalie Rodriguez (Norwalk, CT) also netted three goals coming off the bench.

Senior Jillian Caracciolo (Burnt Hills, NY) had a four-point outing with a pair of goals and assists.

Freshman goalie Marissa Bonitatibus (Yorktown Heights, NY) compiled 12 saves, including nine in the opening half.

Junior Emily Bojarski (Syracuse, NY) scored three goals for the Golden Knights who were making their season debut.

Western New England College also defeated Nichols by the same score its last outing this past Saturday (March 15).
