BRISTOL, R.I. - Roger Williams used a strong opening half and then held off a late Western New England College charge for a 9-6 victory in a Commonwealth Coast Conference women's lacrosse contest Saturday afternoon (Mar. 29).
Junior Libby Stout (Concord, MA) led the hosts with three goals and an assist while freshman Clair Halliday (Trenton, NJ) added two other scores. Sophomore goalie Amanda Magee (Columbus, NJ) turned away six shots.
