BIDDEFORD, Maine - Senior Katye Devine (New Fairfield, CT) and freshman Jeanmarie Barbaro (Huntington Station, NY) combined for 15 points as the Western New England College women's lacrosse team posted a 17-3 victory over host University of New England on Wednesday (Apr. 2).

Devine scored six goals and had two assists while Barbato netted five goals with a pair of assists for the Golden Bears who raised their record to to 7-3 overall and 3-1 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.

Senior Jillian Caracciolo (Burnt Hills, NY)  had one of the best games of her career with two goals and four assists.

Juniors Lindsay Fenton (Pelham, MA) and Michelle Thompson (Wilbraham, MA) each added a goal and assist. Fenton also picked-up four ground balls.

Junior Erin Conn (Yorktown Heights, NY) conributed five ground balls and four caused turnovers while freshman Nicole Poli (Medfield, MA) compiled seven caused turnovers with three ground balls.

The Nor'easters scored the first goal of the game at the 21:51 mark before the Golden Bears came back to take an 8-1 lead at halftime.
