This was the first The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) match of the season for both squads.

Curry (2-1-2, 0-0-1 TCCC) responded in the second stanza as junior Ben Radzicki (Sterling, MA) netted his first two goals of the season in the 73rd and 81st minutes, respectively. The first goal came on a corner kick assisted by freshman Marc Santos (East Hartford, CT).

Freshman keeper Brian Newsome (Lawrenceville, NJ) was a brick wall in net as he stopped 10 shots for the Colonels.
