Anne Doton (Woodstock, VT) contributed a goal and two assists as the Mount Holyoke field hockey team blanked Western New England College 4-0 Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 23) at Golden Bear Stadium.
Sophomore midfielder
Melissa Hartley (Longmont, CO) struck for her first goal of the season off a penalty corner assisted by Doton 9:06 into the game to give the Lyons the early 1-0 lead.
At the 27:01 mark, Doton assisted freshman forward
Shara Robertson (KZN, South Africa) off another penalty corner and then scored at 47:07 of the second half.
Robertson wrapped up the Mount Holyoke scoring at 54:41 with the assist from junior forward
Mary Kate Switchenko (Sturbridge, MA).
The Lyons (3-1) out shot Western New England College 29-2 as senior
Allie Walsh (Ann Arbor, MI) (one save) and freshman
Katie Gibson (Charlotte, NC) split time in net.

Lindsey Orszulak (Longmeadow, MA) registered 11 save for the Golden Bears.
Western New England College falls to 0-8.
