SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore midfielder
Kaitlyn DiBuono (Auburn, MA) netted the game-winning goal with 1:32 remaining in overtime as The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) rival Nichols came from behind to defeat the Western New England College women's soccer team 3-2 Tuesday (Oct. 13) at Suprenant Field.
The Bison improves its overall record to 6-8 and 3-6 in TCCC play. The Golden Bears drop below the .500 mark at 6-7 and 5-4 in the conference.

Jessica Ferris (Springfield, MA) gave Nichols a 1-0 advantage off a direct kick in the eighth minute, but WNEC quickly tied it up off a corner kick by sophomore midfielder
Andrea Almeida (Newington, CT) in the 14th minute with an assist from junior midfielder
Shannon Pescatello (Wethersfield, CT).
Western New England College took the lead five minutes later when junior forward
Heather Mortell (Webster, MA) notched her team leading sixth goal of the season with another assist from Pescatello.
The Bison came back to tie the contest in the 58th minute on a goal by sophomore midfielder

Nicole Johnson (Westhampton, MA) collected three saves in 76 minutes, 32 seconds. Freshman
Maureen Lynch (Holbrook, MA) played the rest of the game and had one stop.
Western New England College out-shot its opponent 31-10 and had eight corner kicks.
