BRISTOL, Conn. - Sixth-seeded Western New England College upset third-seeded Roger Williams on penalty kicks Saturday (Oct. 31 )in a quarterfinal round match of The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Women's Soccer Tournament Saturday (Oct. 31) at Bayside Field.
The teams battled to a 2-2 double overtime draw before the Golden Bears took a 4-3 advantage in the penalty kick shootout.

Laurin Pendleton (Southwick, MA) tallied the equalizer with 1:44 remaining in regulation. Senior
Carey Baldwin (West Hartford, CT) had the assist.
Covino finished with six saves for the Golden Bears while
Jen Garside (Londonderry, NH) turned away five shots for the hosts.
This was the second tie between the squads this season following a 1-1 draw on October 17 in Springfield.
Western New England College will host seventh-seeded Wentworth (a 2-1 winner over second-seeded University of New England) in a semifinal meeting at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 4) at Suprenant Field.
