NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - The Western New England College women's tennis team defeated Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts 9-0 Thursday afternoon (Oct. 8) for its fourth shutout of the season.

Sophomores  Amanda Ide (Hamden, CT) and Lori Pagliano (Milford, CT) started the match off with an 8-1 victory at the No. 3 doubles position in their first appearances of the season.

Senior Kelly Murnane (Cheshire, CT) posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 3 singles spot to remain unbeaten with a 13-0 record.

The Golden Bears have a 10-3 record heading into their final match of the regular season on Saturday (Oct. 10) against Curry.
