MILTON, Mass. - The Curry men's soccer team scored a pair goals in the final 19:22 for a 2-0 victory over visiting Western New England College Wednesday evening (Sept. 16).

This was the opening match for the Golden Bears in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) who now have a 3-3 record.

Senior Benjamin Radzicki (Sterling, MA) broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 71st minute with an assist from senior Sam Schwarz (Byfield, MA).

Freshman Devin Sadlers (Somerset, MA)  tallied an un assisted insurance goal with 47 second left in the contest.

Sophomore goalkeeper Brian Newsome (Lawrenceville, NJ) had 14 saves for the hosts while senior Kyle Bak (Cumberland, RI) turned away 12 shots for WNEC.

The stats were close as Western New England College had a 22-20 advantage in shots and 5-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Colonels raised their record to 3-2-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
