Box Score Box Score

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
- Playing its second overtime match in less than 24 hours, the Western New England College men's soccer team and visiting Wesleyan battled to a 0-0 tie Sunday afternoon (Sept. 20) at Suprenant Field.

The Golden Bears, who dropped a heart-breaking 1-0 decision at Endicott last night, now have a 3-4-1 record. The Cardinals remain undefeated at 2-0-2.

Wesleyan had a 27-14 advantage in shots, but couldn't find a way past senior goalkeeper Kyle Bak (Cumberland, RI) who finished with 11 saves (including five in the second half) in a strong performance.

Freshman Adam Purdy (Montclair, NJ) stopped only two shots for the visitors, but had a terrific save late in the second half.
