SPRINGFIELD Mass.

Curry tallied once in the second period on a 23-yard pass from Cavanaugh to junior receiver Jon Chattman (Woonsocket, RI) for a 31-0 lead at halftime.

The Colonels stunned WNEC on the first play of the second half when Cavanaugh hit freshman receiver Victor Martinez (Southbridge, MA) on a 70-yard score. Alksninis drilled a 30-yard field goal later in the third period to complete the scoring.
