Valerie Feldman (Albany, N) had two goals and four assists as the Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated Western New England College 13-8 Saturday afternoon (Apr. 3) in a battle of previously undefeated teams in The Commonwealth Coast Conference action.
The Gulls remain unbeaten in league play with a 5-0 mark while raising their overall record to 7-1. Western New England College is now 4-5 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
The Golden Bears dominated action early in the game taking a 4-1 lead when junior attacker
Jeanmarie Barbato (Huntington Station, NY) scored on a free position shot with 13:33 remaining in the half.
Endicott tallied the next four goals, the last one by Feldman with six seconds left, to take a 5-4 lead at the break.
WNEC stayed close trailing by a goal(7-6) following a shot by junior defender
Nicole Poli (Medfield, MA) at the 21:51 mark.
DeShaw then fired in two goals in a 4-0 run over the next 11 minutes, which gave the hosts an 11-6 advantage with 10:02 left in the game.
Senior midfielder
Lindsey Fenton (Pelham, MA) led Western New England College with three goals and a pair of assists. She also picked-up a team high five ground balls. Barbato finished with two goals and an assist.

Marissa Bonitatibus (Yorktown Heights, NY) turned away 18 shots to keep the Golden Bears in the game. Junior attacker
