Endicott's Colleen Pepin nets hat-trick to top Western New England College in overtime

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
– Endicott junior forward Colleen Pepin (Fairhaven, MA) tallied all three of the Gulls' goals to hold off Western New England College in a 3-2 overtime thriller on Saturday (Sept. 18) at Suprenant Field.

Pepin scored the game-winner 7:56 into the first overtime period to the lift the visiting Gulls to victory.

After giving up the first two goals of the match, Western New England College battled back as junior forward Sara McMurray (Enfield, CT) scored both goals, including the game-tying effort with just seven minutes to play.

Endicott senior midfielder Kayla Plante (Sanford, ME) picked up an assist on Pepin's second goal at 26:59.

Freshman goalkeeper Natalie Wyrsch (Dover, NH) made five saves for the Gulls.

Western New England College freshman goalkeeper Victoria Trezise (Islip, NY) made six stops.

The Gulls improve their record to 3-2-1 (2-0), while the Golden Bears slip to 3-4 (1-1).

The Golden Bears return to action on Tuesday (Sept. 21) at 4:00 p.m. in a conference match-up with Wentworth in Boston, MA.
