SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--The Western New England University women's tennis team posted its first win of the fall campaign with a sweep of visiting Massachusetts College, 9-0, at the Volvo Outdoor Tennis Facility. The Golden Bears improve to 1-3 on the season.
Linda Mustafa was a double winner at Nos. 1 singles and doubles (with
Kelsey Grode). In addition,
Valerie Conway won at both No. 2 singles and doubles, teaming with
Alysha Lesieur who also was victorious at No. 3 singles.
The Golden Bears' singles four through six were impressive, combining to lose only four games.
