The Golden Bears, who were the only undefeated team in CCC contests prior to today, fall to 12-9 overall and 4-2 in the conference, while the Seahawks (14-8) take over first place in the standings at 7-1 in league play.

Sophomore catcher Grace Kucharski and junior Katie Eckert led Western New England with three hits apiece on the afternoon, with Kucharski getting two runs batted in.
