Box Score WENHAM, Mass.--Taylor McSherry scored two goals to lead Gordon to a 5-0 victory Saturday over Western New England in the Commonwealth Coast Conference women's soccer opener for both squads. The host Scots improve to 5-1 overall while the Golden Bears fall even to 3-3.

Tayler Mazurski, Avery Clark and Erica Parlavecchio had two shots apiece for the WNE offense.

McSherry scored her first goal of the day just 5 minutes and 25 seconds after the opening kickoff, and Gordon never looked back.

Western New England goalkeeper Briana Kubik made a game-high six saves in 68:30 of action, and fellow sophomore Abigail Hunt made her season debut by playing the final 21:30. 

McKenzie Dion moved to 2-0 with the win, making five stops to record the shutout.
