Vujs made 10-of-18 field goals, including three 3-pointers, and 5 of 6 from the free throw line en route to scoring the most points in a game by a Golden Bear in two years. She also added four steals while notching her 10th double-double of the season.
Senior co-captain
Ali Pessolano tied Vujs with 12 rebounds as the Golden Bears enjoyed a 46-43 edge on the glass.
Wentworth led 7-2 before WNE went on a 9-0 spurt during a 1-minute, 52-second span to go up 11-7 at the 11:37 mark of the first half. Vujs scored six consecutive points on back-to-back possessions to give the Golden Bears their first lead at 8-7 and ignite the spark.
The teams traded points the rest of the half as neither team led by more than four. WNE went into the intermission holding a slim 26-25 lead after McLaughlin drained a trey with one tick left on the clock.
The contest featured five ties and five lead changes, and Western New England's biggest lead of five points, 34-29, occurred at the 16:33 mark of the second half after Vujs converted a lay-up on a steal to cap an 8-2 run.
Wentworth eventually took a 42-38 advantage after a Camara lay-up with 7:26 remaining. Camara also started the Leopards' 13-4 run with a jumper, as she accounted for eight points during that time.
The Golden Bears, though, came up with another big run and Vujs again was a major catalyst. She scored seven of the team's next nine points as WNE reclaimed the lead for good at 47-42 with 1:30 left.
Western New England had a decided advantage with its bench, outscoring the Wentworth reserves 13-2.
