Box Score SPRINGFIELD, MA - The Western New England women's soccer team allowed an own goal in the 42^nd minute in dropping a 1-0 decision against visiting Roger Williams during Homecoming Saturday (Oct. 3) at rainy Suprenant Field.
 
Despite being out-shot by a 22-3 margin, the Golden Bears had a strong defensive effort against the conference co-leaders thanks to a terrific performance by goalkeeper Briana Kubik who compiled 11 saves.
 
Natalie O'Donovan stopped the only shot she faced on goal for the Hawks.
 
Roger Williams remains unbeaten with an 8-0-3 record and 3-0-1 conference mark. Western New England is now 2-8-2 and 1-2-1 in CCC play.
