First Round Complete Results

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.--Western New England shot a 307 to tie Skidmore College for seventh place after the first round of the Williams College Fall Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club on Saturday. The second round of the 36-hole event concludes Sunday morning starting at 9 a.m.

Sophomore John Abbott leads the Golden Bears with a 3-over-74 for tied for sixth overall, followed by classmate Mike Metcalf (77, T-31st), and juniors Joe DaSilva (77, T-31st), Nick Shemkovitz (79, T-55th), Matt Fontaine (87, T-83rd).

Rhode Island College leads the team standings with a 298, and Salem State's Tyler Conigliari is the individual leader with an even 71.
