How it Happened:
Western New England opened with a score on their first drive of the game and did not look back. The Golden Bears needed seven played and 65 yards in 2:26 of clock to complete a 21-yard touchdown pass as Bryce Karstetter found De'Andre Harris wide open in the endzone to give the Golden Bears a 6-0 lead. WNE would force the Nor'easters to punt on four consecutive drives to open the game to hold UNE off the scoreboard.

In the second quarter, WNE quickly forced another punt and marched down the field in nine plays and 71-yards to get Western New England a 13-point lead. The drive was capped off by four straight rushes by Dillon Kohl, who finished the drive with a one-yard touchdown run. Matt Gilbert connected on the extra point kick to give the Golden Bears the 13-point advantage. On the ensuing drive, Western New England would pick off UNE QB Jarrett Henault as Zayd Sadiq would come up with the pick, handing the ball back to the Golden Bears. On the next drive for Western New England, Ryan Larson would pick up a 15-yard catch from Karstetter, while the drive was ended with a 29-yard touchdown to De'Andre Harris, who collected his second touchdown pass of the game to give Western New England a 20-0 lead on the six play, 71-yard drive. The score would remain for the final 47 seconds of the contest after Joe Shea picked up his first sack of the game.

Coming out of the half, Western New England would receive the kickoff and would bolt 75-yards down the field, using 12 plays to score another touchdown, putting the pressure on the Nor'easters. Ian Britt would take the ball three yards up the middle to end the 12-play drive to give Western New England a commanding 27-0 lead. The WNE defense would force multiple three-and-outs, led by Thomas Gasbarro, Jake Chiasson and Joe Shea

The Golden Bears would open the fourth quarter with another interception as Zayd Sadiq would record his second INT of the afternoon. Following a miscue at the goal line, the Nor'easters would get the ball back, though would be picked off again, as Leandro DePina would grab the ball after Joe Shea put pressure on the quarterback. A deep ball from Conrad Swanson to AJ Hall would give Western New England great field position for a four-yard touchdown run from Dillon Kohl to give WNE football a 33-0 lead. The Golden Bears would make a stop of fourth and one at the UNE 47 to hold the Nor'easters off the scoreboard. WNE would run out the final four minutes of the clock, with Tucker McCann getting 17 yards on four rushes while Conrad Swanson picked up the game sealing 19-yard rush to send WNE to a 33-0 win over University of New England.
