Southwick, Mass. (April 27, 2024) – The Golden Bears were in Southwick, Massachusetts, on Saturday for their final invitational of the year. They traveled to The Ranch Golf Club for the Elms Invitational. Jeremy Burke led the way for WNE by shooting a 38 on the front nine and a 38 on the back nine for a total of 76, which was four over par. That was good enough to tie for third place overall. The Golden Bears tied for second place with a combined score of 331 in the invitational.

The Golden Bears hit the links for the final time of the season on Saturday at The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, Massachusetts. Jeremy Burke had the best score of the day for the Golden Bears. Burke shot a 38 going out and coming back in for a total score of 76, which was +4. Burke tied for third place overall. Ryan Schlehuber was next for the Golden Bears. Schlehuber shot a 39 on the front and a 43 on the back for a total score of 82, which was +10 for the round. Schlehuber got eleventh place overall. Robert DeFeo was right behind Schlehuber, with a total score of 83. DeFeo shot a 40 on the way out and a 43 on the way back in. That was good enough for +11 on the day and tied for twelfth place. Dylan Fortunato was the next Golden Bear on the leaderboard, with a round of 90. Fortunato shot a 49 on the way out and a 41 on the way back in. That was +18 for the round. Michael Bluhm was next for WNE with a round of 94. Bluhm shot a 44 on the way out and a 50 on the way back. That was a +22 for the round. Combined, the Golden Bears shot a score of 331, which was tied with Westfield State University for second place.
