SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 10, 2025) – Western New England football placekicker Max LoGrasso has picked up honors for the second time this season from the Conference of New England, being named the Special Teams Player of the Week. 

LoGrasso was spot on this past week at Maine Maritime, hitting ten of a possible ten extra point attempts for Western New England, tying a single-game high in the program's history, previously held by Valentine Wagner in 2018. The Golden Bears scored on all ten of their offensive drives on Saturday in a 70-7 victory over Maine Maritime, capped off by ten extra point kicks from LoGrasso, who moves to 43/45 on PATs this season. LoGrasso is also 8/9 on field goal attempts, leading the way on special teams for the blue and gold. 

WNE Football has one game remaining on the schedule this season, a home game against Nichols College at Golden Bear Stadium, slated for Saturday, November 15, at 1:00 PM.
