SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (July 23, 2025) – Nine members of the Western New England women's swimming team have earned accolades from the Little East Conference on the Spring 2025 LEC Academic Honor Roll. The nine Golden Bears are tied for the most in program history in one season to receive honors.
2,224 student-athletes across the Little East Conference's current 21 championship sports were named to the LEC Academic Honor Roll in recognition of their academic performance in the Spring 2025 semester. To be named to the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of the term.
From LEC women's swimming and diving, 153 total student-athletes were named, including the nine from Western New England. The nine members of WNE include
Alexa Adams (Windsor Locks, Conn.)
Gianna Calabrese (Watertown, Conn.),
Caitlin Guntly (Chicopee, Mass.),
Amanda Pillard (Conn.),
Morgan Potler (Columbia, Md.),
Julia Remiszewski (Rocky Hill, Conn.),
Amanda Robinson (Woodbridge, Conn.),
Ella Smith (Chicopee, Mass.), and
Vicky Stepien (Bristol, Conn.)
Affiliate members of the Little East Conference garnered 213 spots on the Academic Honor Roll. In total, 380 student-athletes had a 4.0 semester GPA, 542 student-athletes had a semester GPA of at least 3.90, 916 student-athletes had a semester GPA of at least 3.75, and 1,458 student-athletes had a semester GPA of at least 3.50.
Western New England women's swimming will return to the pool this coming October, with a schedule release expected in the coming months.
