CEDAR FALLS, IOWA (January 9, 2026) – The women's wrestling program was invited out to Iowa for the first NCAA Division III National Duals, hosted by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. They entered the tournament as the overall No. 3 seed. WNE took the first match versus McMurry University 42-0, winning three matches via technical forfeit, one by fall, and six by forfeit. The Golden Bears then took down Manchester 28-17 in round two, with
Victoria Orender picking up a win via pinfall and both
Maddie Ripley and
Jazmene Molina picking up technical fall victories. That win sent the Golden Bears to the duals semifinals.
How it Happened (vs. McMurry University):
The Golden Bears rolled in their opening match of the national duals. They did not drop an individual match and defeated McMurray University 42-0. After a double forfeit opened the match,
Victoria Orender picked up an 11-0 technical fall win in the 110 lb. weight class,
Maddie Ripley won via forfeit in the 117 lb. weight class, and
Linda Holeman won via technical fall 10-0 in the 124 lb. weight class.
Jazmene Molina and
Tanya Teneva continued the trend and won via fall at 1:05 and 11-0 technical fall in the 131 and 138 lb. weight classes, respectively. The rest of the weight class matches were won via forfeit, with
Rylee Donohue (145 lb.),
Sky De Leon (160 lb.),
Atiyana Williams (180 lb.), and
Emily Dudar (207 lb.) all wrestling in those matches for WNE.

The Golden Bears dropped the 103 lb. weight class match via forfeit to start the second round matchup versus Manchester. They then rattled off five consecutive victories.
Victoria Orender won the 110 lb. weight class via pinfall at 2:48.
Maddie Ripley won the 117 lb. weight class match via technical fall 13-2.
Linda Holeman won the 124lb. weight class match via decision, 8-1.
Jazmene Molina took the 131 lb. weight class match via technical fall, 10-0. Then,
