SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (February 5, 2026) – The Western New England women's lacrosse team released its 2026 schedule on Thursday afternoon, which will feature seven games at Golden Bear Stadium, including the season opener on Wednesday, February 25.
The Golden Bears open the season with a home game against Worcester State University at 4:00 PM on February 25. From there, the Golden Bears hit the road for a pair of games, making stops at Smith College on Saturday, February 28, at 12:00 PM and at Springfield College on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:00 PM. The Golden Bears return home for one more game before spring break, hosting Keene State College on Saturday, March 7, at 1:00 PM.
The Golden Bears will participate in a pair of games in Hilton Head, South Carolina, for spring break. WNE takes on Delaware Valley University on Tuesday, March 10, and Husson University on Thursday, March 12. Both start times will be announced in the coming weeks and can be found on wnegoldenbears.com. The Golden Bears will return north and play their final non-conference game of the season on Monday, March 16 at 5:00 PM, traveling to Anna Maria College to meet the AMCATS for the third time in program history.
Conference of New England play opens on home turf when the Golden Bears take on Roger Williams University on Saturday, March 21, at 4:00 PM. The first CNE road contest of the season comes at Wentworth Institute of Technology on Wednesday, March 25, at 7:00 PM. The final two games in a busy month of March see the Blue and Gold host the University of New England on Saturday, March 28, before heading to Gordon College on Tuesday, March 31 for a 4:00 PM start.
Western New England will have six games remaining on its regular-season schedule in April, opening with a home game against the University of Hartford on Friday, April 3. Back-to-back road games see the Golden Bears travel to Suffolk University on April 8 and Nichols College on April 11. Two of the final three regular-season contests come at home for the Golden Bears, who welcome Johnson & Wales University, the newest member of the CNE, to Golden Bear Stadium on Tuesday, April 14. The Golden Bears travel to Curry College on Saturday, April 18, in the final regular-season road game before hosting Endicott College on Wednesday, April 22, at 4:00 PM in the regular-season finale.
