BANGOR, Maine â€" Four sophomores scored key points as Western New England College made school history by clinching its first regular season North Atlantic Conference (NAC) title with a 3-1 victory over Husson College.

Sophomore Allison Jameson (Brattleboro, VT) scored two goals while classmate Monique Hammith (Westbrook, ME) tallied her first goal of the season with 17:30 remaining in the contest.

Jameson opened the scoring with an unassisted goal with 10:35 left in the opening has to give the Golden Bears a 1-0 half-time advantage.

After Husson tied the contest 1:30 into the second half, Jameson scored the game-winner with 22:39 left with an assist from classmate Audrey Kelton (Wilder, VT) at 22:39.

Hammith then scored the final goal of the game with an assist from sophomore Stephanie Gildart (Portland, ME).

Junior Jillian Brown (Plymouth, MA) made nine saves for the Golden Bears who are now 12-5 overall and 8-0 in the conference.
