BABSON PARK, Mass. â€" Western New England College fell behind by two goals in the first 3:34 and things didn't get better as the fifth-seeded Golden Bears dropped a 6-0 decision to fourth-seeded Babson College in a quarterfinal game of the ECAC Division III New England Championship.

Babson out-shot WNEC (who was playing in its first post-season tournament ever) by a 50-13 margin scoring three times in each half.

Junior Jillian Brown (Plymouth, MA) did her best to keep the Golden Bears in the game by making 17 saves.

Despite the loss, Western New England College finished the best season in school history with an impressive 14-9 record that is a school record for wins.
